Ponies and flowers

The New Forest is full of foals now, here are a selection from my walk today, along with other ponies and a flower.
Coloured ponies on the Ringwood and Ellingham Sports Ground.
New Forest Pony foal.
Little Linford Inclosure – a study in green and bluebells.
A lovely little chestnut foal. They’re so friendly at this age, although mum often intervenes when they come to investigate!
Loud hooves as the ponies trot and canter across the wooden bridge over Linford Brook.
The latter part of the herd give up on the bridge and the noise is replaced by hooves on gravel as they canter across the stream.
Foal number three, a little dinky black one.
Flag iris on the edges of the brook.
Iris – a bit Photoshopped. I don’t often mess with my photos, but this one was rather ordinary and begged a little enhancement.
I'd love to hear from you...
