Ibsley Common in the morning and Smugglers Road in the evening
Friday, April 9th, 2010
Only a few photos today. Trees in the morning, sunset in the evening.
A birch against the morning sunshine with lovely clouds.
A lovely hawthorn casting a shadow over the old bracken.
Beech leaves bursting forth.
A cloud looking like a vortex hovers against the darkening sky.
The sun sinks lower distorted by the banks of cloud.
My ‘go faster’ tree – I love the shape of this birch.
Looking over Ringwood into North Dorset, the haze of the evening creates banks of varying shade.
The setting sun behind the clouds is a watercolourists dream. The huge shape of the sun just visible at the bottom of the picture.
Another strange, wispy cloud.
Along the Smugglers Road itself all the gorse that edged the path has been cleared making the top behind me look very bare. I guess it improves the views.
The same bare prospect ahead of me has I head off down to the car.
I'd love to hear from you...
