An Icy Linford and Moon Rise Over Ibsley
Friday, February 3rd, 2012
Watching my step at Linford Bottom in the morning.
Delicate fingers of ice in Linford Brook.
Where the ice is thicker, intricate patterns of ice.
Where the ice is complete, feathered patterns through it. My movement has created a wave of water over it.
Further upstream where the water is moving fast it has moulded the icicles above into little globes.
A grassy ice puddle with frost on each blade.
These trainers have been at the edge of the car park for a couple of weeks. Someone keeps moving them into different positions, I believe here we have a rather frosty ‘first’ position, complete with frosty socks! 😉
Moon rise over Ibsley
The rising moon over Ibsley Common.
One of the few remaining oak trees of Newlands Plantation.
The path from Digden Bottom curving up to Whitefield Plantation in the declining light.
A luxurious sunset tonight.
Sunset over Ibsley Pond.
The last of the sun.
I'd love to hear from you...
